ThiefRL2 Post-7DRL release

I released a small game in this year's Seven-Day Roguelike Challenge, which was in March. I'm finally getting around to putting out a post-challenge release, which has a couple of bug fixes and adds guard facing, so you can see which way guards are looking.

Here's the Zip file containing the Windows executable. (The previous, challenge version is here.)

Release notes:
  • Show guard orientation. Guards can now only see in the direction they are facing, even when stationary.
  • Guards do not move on top of each other.
  • Player can hear guards from six squares away instead of five.
  • Adjust house exterior to improve ability to evade guards and re-enter.
  • Fix bug with guards pathing through trees sometimes when there was a non-tree route.

Awesome, thank you !

For me this game have a really big potentials to be expanted in bigger game because core mechanics are.. amazing, perfect before this patch, I think even better after this release!

Do you plan to expand in a future ThiefRL3 ?

Thank you! Glad to hear you've enjoyed it.

I have ideas for a new version but it is low on my list right now. I'm going to try to finish up a couple of other prototypes first.
