Young programmer

My father recently discovered a photo of me taken in 1985. I was programming in BASICA (the BASIC that came with DOS) then.

The computer appears to be an IBM XT, which was the first PC with a hard drive (5 MB if I remember correctly). There's an HP plotter perched on top, with the myriad pens next to the monitor. A couple of model rockets are visible up on the window sill.
